Steps

The Steps widget turns any process into a clear, numbered sequence, making setup guides, integrations, and instructions easy to follow at a glance.

Why use it

• Clarity and structure: organizes information so readers can follow complex processes with ease.
• Multimedia support: each step can hold images, videos, tables, and more.
• Flexibility: add, delete, and duplicate steps as your content evolves.
• Highlight key info: drop in callouts and dividers to emphasize what matters.

Add a Steps widget

Position your cursor

Navigate to the point in your text where you want the Steps widget.

Type /Steps

Type /Steps on a new line.

Select the widget

Choose the Steps option that appears.

When first added, only the first step appears, with a + icon to add more.

Manage your steps

Add a title: give each step a short heading.

Add content: each step supports basic text formatting, callouts, tables, images, videos, code blocks, cards, and dividers.

Navigate and edit:

• Add step: click the + icon to add a new step below.
• Delete step: hover over a step’s number for the trash icon, or select the whole step and press Delete.
• Delete widget: remove the entire Steps widget and all its content.
• Duplicate widget: copy the whole widget to reuse a similar sequence.
